Deputy Mayor Tennant called the meeting to order at 6:10 p.m.

    THAT the agenda be accepted as amended:

    • removal of the community planning matter from the closed session.

    THAT Council approve the allocation of Community Enrichment Grants to various organizations under Intake 1 in the amount of $28,225.00.

    THAT Council accept the Carleton Place 2025 Stormwater Management Annual Report as information; and

    THAT the report be made available to the Public via the Town’s Website.

    THAT Council accept the Carleton Place Drinking Water System 2025 Annual Report as information; and

Treasurer Trisa McConkey notified Council that going forward childcare fee increases will be included with the Town's budget deliberations.

    THAT Council approve increasing the School-Age Childcare fees by 2.1% effective June 1, 2026 as outlined in the report by the Childcare Administrators dated March 10, 2026; and  

    THAT the necessary by-law to enact the fees be forwarded to Council for approval.

    THAT Council pass a by-law to opt out of the provisions of the Line Fences Act.
