    THAT Council receive the Consent Report dated June 25, 2024:

    Industrial Avenue Pumping Station (Communication 135139)

    THAT Council receive the Industrial Avenue Pumping Station report dated June 11, 2024, by the Director of Public Works as information in advance of 2025 Water and Sewer budget considerations.

    Zamboni Snow Melting Pit Grate Emergency Repairs (Communication 135140)

    THAT Council receive as information the report from the Property and Project Manager on the emergency repairs to the Zamboni Snow Melting Pit Grate dated June 11, 2024; and

    THAT the budget deviation of $31,160.63 be funded through the year end surplus, if any, or from the Administrative Reserve.

    Reserve Policy (Communication 135141)

    THAT Council approves the Reserve Policy as outlined in the Treasurer’s report dated June 11, 2024.

    Year-End Results for 2023 (Communication 135142)

    THAT Council receives the Year-End Financial Report from the Treasurer dated June 11, 2024 as information.

    Financial Report to April 30, 2024 (Communication 135143)

    THAT Council receives the Financial Report from the Treasurer to April 30, 2024, as information.

    Miller’s Crossing and Coleman Central Parks (Communication 135144)

    THAT Council approves up to an additional $75,000.00 to address any change orders which may arise during the construction of the Miller’s Crossing and Coleman Central parks and that the additional amount be funded from Development Charges. 

    Lanark County ICLEI Canada Application

    THAT Council authorize staff to send a letter of support to the County of Lanark for their application to ICLEI Canada Building to Net-Zero Project. 

    Consent Items from the June 25, 2024, Committee of the Whole Meeting

    Asset Management Plan (Communication 135150)

    THAT Council approves the 2024 Asset Management Plan as presented in accordance with the July 1, 2024 requirements of O. Reg. 588/17; and

    THAT Council directs staff to post the Asset Management Plan on the Town’s website.

    Waste Collection and Disposal Contract Award (Communication 135152)

    THAT Council award the waste collection and disposal services Request for Proposal (RFP) to Emterra Environmental beginning January 1, 2026, in accordance with the Director of Public Works' report dated June 25, 2024.

    Energy Conservation Demand Management Plan (Communication 135155)

    THAT Council receive the Energy Conservation Demand Management Plan in accordance with the Property and Project Manager’s Report dated June 25, 2024.

    2023 Audited Financial Statements

    THAT Council approve the 2023 Audited Consolidated Financial Statements; and

    THAT the statements be posted on the Town's website.
