LAND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

Mayor Randell read the Town's Land Acknowledgement Statement.

Mayor Randell called the meeting to order at 6:01 p.m.

Upcoming Road Reconstruction - Sidewalks

Guy Bourgon, Director of Public Works, was in attendance to answer any questions pertaining to the motion.

  THAT Council directs staff to poll all residents within the Mississippi Manor subdivision regarding a proposed new sidewalk on each of Nelson and Alexander Streets forming part of the reconstruction of the streets in 2024.

BY-LAWS

1.

By-law No. 28-2024 (To Adopt a Sign By-law - Repeals By-law 65-2008)

Lennox Smith, Chief Building Official, was present to answer any questions pertaining to the By-law.

  THAT By-law 28-2024 (To Adopt a Sign By-law - Repeals By-law 65-2008) be read a first, second, and third time, and finally passed.

By-law No. 29-2024 (Amendment to Fees and Charges By-law - Signs)

  Moved by: Councillor Comley
  Seconded by: Councillor Cavanagh

  THAT By-law 29-2024 (To Amend Fees and Charges By-law 81-2023 - Signs) be read a first, second, and third time, and finally passed.

By-law No. 30-2024 (Agreement for Additional Services with the OPP)

  THAT By-law 30-2024 (Agreement for Additional Services with the OPP) be read a first, second, and third time, and finally passed.
